Our approach to ESG reflects the culture we have created within Excelpoint to ensure we are and remain an ethical organisation.
Our vision is to enable organisations to realise the benefits of a digital transformation for business process automation. We address business-critical challenges with our no-code software configuring and deploying scalable solutions to create automated business processes and workflows. The no-code software plays a crucial role in creating streamlined operations to improve business results, reduce costs, drive business improvement, enhance the customer and employee experience, and ultimately establish data-driven organisations.

Our Environmental Responsibility
We continually address our environmental responsibilities and carbon footprint, working towards minimising waste, energy consumption and pollution. Excelpoint and many of our customers embrace our software to monitor, encourage and help reduce or minimise travel and paper consumption to enable them to operate more efficiently.
Around 90% of our meetings utilise online meeting tools, and we adopt a hybrid working philosophy for employees who choose to work from home, further reducing fuel emissions.
In 2020, Excelpoint moved to a new office. The criteria for building selection took into consideration location, business requirements, employee needs and environmental issues. Excelpoint’s head office is a building with solar PV panels and ground source heat pumps, sensor lighting, insulated panelling, and onsite facilities for meetings and events to help minimise travel. The office environment provides comfortable and relaxing break out and social areas.
Our long-term aim is to continue to develop a sustainable environmental strategy across all areas of the business. It extends to our employees by encouraging them to dedicate one day a quarter of their working time to giving back to our community. Members of staff have already participated in tree planting initiatives across the region.

Our Social Responsibility
We invest in the development of our business operations, processes, products, services and people to create a fulfilling workplace. We have an ethos of promotion from within, providing our staff with career plans, opportunities, and training to ensure they reach their potential.
Liaising with educational establishments, we offer work placement experiences and engage in knowledge transfer programmes. We are also an advocate of supporting young apprentices, offering opportunities to train with Excelpoint and full-time positions for apprentices who have successfully joined the business.
In 2021, we launched an initiative to work with our regional educational establishments by visiting students to present to and talk to them about career opportunities within the tech sector. We aim to inspire a future workforce and retain talent in the North East of England.
We have an excellent track record for all aspects of health and wellbeing, and we ensure our current and future workforce enjoys an environment of equality, diversity and inclusion. We actively encourage a healthy lifestyle and have incorporated Vitality Health into the business health scheme combining better health with health insurance.
We support a wide range of local charities, sponsor local sporting teams, and offer long-term career opportunities within the area. We are passionate about our North East roots and strive towards giving something meaningful back to the region.

We work to a robust quality management system accredited to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001, and we are Cyber Essentials, and IASME GDPR certified. Our software platform is annually Vulnerability and Penetration Tested by a National Cyber Security Centre CHECK Company to offer you the assurance that the solutions you implement continuously strive for and meet the highest standards demanded in the modern era.
